For a lot of folks this can seem really daunting. The problem is that  you don’t really have any idea what the correct protocol is for wedding toasts, or what exactly you are supposed to say.

Back in 2009, I was lucky enough to get married. One of my duties for the evening was to deliver a grooms speech, which had to few wedding toasts to my brides parents and the bridesmaids.

How I Used These Wedding Toasts

 

The truth is, I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to say in my toast. After all, I hadn’t really seen that many wedding toasts before, so it wasn’t something I was really familiar with.

To cut a long story short, I managed to deliver a really great grooms speech, which included a couple of classic wedding toasts which went down really well.
The big question is how did I go from knowing nothing about wedding toasts and speeches, to being able to deliver a knock-out presentation that the audience seemed to love?

Looking back, the single factor that allowed me to do that was the moment that I found a great set of wedding toasts and speeches. It was something that I hadn’t really thought about doing until I actually sat down and tried to write my speech. As I mentioned, the evening was a great success, and my speech went down very well with the audience. The money you will spend in comparison to the enormity of the occasion will be worth every cent.
For me it was without a doubt the best thing I did before my wedding day. Of course, after proposing that is.
